Well, I don't drink coffee at all and only occasionally partake in a glass of wine or a fruity concoction. Not hooked on either. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@sarabee1995 there is really nothing like a good wine, sorry you are not a lover of it.

@samueltyler2 Oh I very much enjoy my occasional glass of wine. Please don't interpret my words to mean I don't. But it is very occasional.

I was afloat for about four months, then in quarantine for two weeks... The first thing I did after that was go out for a nice dinner and a glass of wine!

@sarabee1995 what wine do you like?
sarabee1995 · 26-30, FVIP
@samueltyler2 I've yet to acquire a taste for reds but mom keeps working on me. I'm a white & rose kinda girl. Mostly California wines. I like to experiment a bit and try different ones.

@sarabee1995 most people tend to start with less complex wines, as you say, but once you taste a full bodied, chewy red wine, you won't go back.
sarabee1995 · 26-30, FVIP
@samueltyler2 I have tasted exactly that, and not inexpensive ones either... As I said, I have not yet acquired a taste for such wines. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@sarabee1995 was it paired with decent food?
sarabee1995 · 26-30, FVIP
@samueltyler2 Oh very much so. My parents are very much of the foodie type.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@sarabee1995 then no problem, it doesn't have to be everyone's love
sarabee1995 · 26-30, FVIP
@samueltyler2 When I'm with them, I have to have the "appropriate" wine based on the meal, etc. 🙄 So I get periodic doses of supposedly good red wine (been a while though -- haven't seen them this year). On my own, I buy whites and roses.

@sarabee1995 your parents are "old worldish" with wines. We drink whatever we want, no longer worry about pairing with "appropriate foods.
sarabee1995 · 26-30, FVIP
@samueltyler2 I think that comes from my grandmother. She was "old worldish" on many things. 🙂
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@sarabee1995 @sarabee1995 I am afraid to ask you how old. I must be ancient to you.
sarabee1995 · 26-30, FVIP
@samueltyler2 She's passed now. There's a story about both my grandparents featured at the top of my profile. They were both very important to me. She was 82 when they died. 🥺
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@sarabee1995 sorry to hear. I am 78, and I don't intend to die any time soon if I can help it. I am frightened about covid.
sarabee1995 · 26-30, FVIP
@samueltyler2 Just stay away from everyone. Become a hermit until we have a vaccine.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@sarabee1995 we hardly go out. Unfortunately, the vaccine is probably really a year away, despite what the politicians say. I know a lot about new drug research and there is little or no chance it will be available as soon as the administration wants. My daughter works at the FDA and laughs at the discussion. "They" still have not recruited the 30k to do the planned phase 3 studies.
