I knew the democrats wanted nothing to do with the bernie people but I didn’t think they’d go the “begging republicans for votes” route.

this is getting so sad. Is it really easier for you to do all this than to just *say* you’ll adopt Medicare for all?

That’s not my interpretation at all. Factions of the GOP have become so embarrassed by Trump, that they are reaching out. Those Lincoln Project videos are only an example of that dissatisfaction. Makes perfect sense some would come to the DNC.
If we’re looking at any kind of coming back together, that is how it will happen. Then there might be a chance of getting rid of Trump. More divisiveness won’t help.

If they were that embarrassed of trump then why not become democrats? It makes no sense and it feels like the democrats are just going to let these rats have the controls of their party @bijouxbroussard

@NoahB Some have. But the GOP and Democrats have different platforms. Just because these people finally decided they don’t want a racist criminal mob boss representing them doesn’t mean they’re supporting the other ideas on the Democratic platform (like abortion rights).
And speaking doesn’t mean controlling.
