if your name is/was Karen would you want to legally change it?

I think it's awful really !

There are millions of children/women named Karen who are all tarred with this thing and few, if anyone can explain how it even came about.

I was recently seeking a new roommate on Craigslist and a woman my age named Karen responded. I couldn't get myself to even reply. I couldn't live with a Karen.

That would be going pretty far, but I would be really pissed that my name had been appropriated to represent a stereotype.

Haha, yeah, these days I would. And you could make a damn fine argument for the benefits of doing so.

What about all the men named “Dick?”
@LeopoldBloom Time to change it to Richard. I actually knew a guy that did just that and I wasn’t until he was in his 40s I think, that he just couldn’t take it anymore.

I might want to use my middle name or something, for a while. When meeting new people, anyway. What a shame, that a perfectly fine name has such negative connotations...now.
I actually asked my daughter about the Karen thing. I was curious as to how they decided upon this particular name. No idea.

I would legally change my last name if it was Pence lol

No. This Karen phase will blow over eventually.
