Yes. We need to return back to normal. Let people attend sport events too.

We should not be held down by a non fatal covid flu bug. This is probably less severe than seasonal flu and no one shuts down for that

I think each league has taken modifications into consideration - larger player rosters, shorter games, etc.... so yeah. Give us something to watch.

They are all being careful and testing the playes all the time and only essential personal are allowed into the arenas

but they are welcome to come and play down here. We are COVID free and can pack a stadium full of actual cheering people 👍

Yes, our cricket team are playing and if they're careful it's fine.

<Sigh> Part of me is they are not essential. Plus they are over paid yet still bitch about money. At at a time when there are underpaid, under-insured people risking their lives as they are in essential jobs. Plus as athletes they get the best medical attention money can buy.

On the other hand, we sure can use the distraction. I am a big baseball fan, and I am pissed at how the players and owners handled negotiations. They seemed petty.

I have been pretty much ignoring the season. I have not watched or listened to a full game at all. However, I do peak at the scoreboard or the box scores from time to time.
