i quit smoking i believe 6 weeks ago

and unfortunately i gained like 9 lbs...this isn't cool cause i was doing a good job losing weight.
i guess i gotta let my body adjust then start losing again or i just need to make some changes to eating habits and start exercising cause this is not cool at all.
😭
is it normal to gain this quick? is that quick? idk..i know i have gained in that past..quitting smoking before but thought it was over time!!!

Totally normal your body is looking for the nicotine and confused, watch the diet and give it some time it’ll get better.

I quit 4 1/2 years ago now, what saved me from weight gain was bags of raw almonds to munch. I’ve ended up losing almost 20 lbs now my body has adjusted, hang in there 👍🏻
michgirl75 · 46-50, F
@Cuda6868 almonds sound good. i hope it doesn't take long to adjust..and i hope i don't expect alot more weight gain before my body adjusts
Cuda6868 · 51-55, M
I gained about 4 lbs before my weight began to drop. What surprised me was how quickly my lungs recovered from 20 years of smoking, way sooner than I’d expected.@michgirl75
