I would take about half of these little bastard protesters and drop them off in a Hot LZ in Vietnam between 1968 and 1972. Let's see how they feel then when somebody stomps or burns The American Flag.
Odd. In news reports of the time, soldiers back in the US interviewed near people protesting the "war" in Vietnam, when asked what they thought about it, said, "This is why we fight--for the freedom to disagree."
@OwnerOfMany Yes, and it's not a successful "breaking free" from the past. We can't get rid of our past, neither by a name change, nor by tearing down monuments. I think it would be more appropriate (and more peaceful) to provide a dubious monument with an informative plate. Likewise, I don't think it's very wise to rename the "Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs" to "The Princeton School of Public and International Affairs".
It's a shame when people try to erase history Britain has done that during the time when Oliver Cromwell ruled I was lost for words when I was a Radio Ham and was working a number of European Stations they were discussing sea battles I had never heard of.
I totally disagree with the burning of the national flag by protestors, no matter what their viewpoint is...the only flags that are ok to burn are flags that are politically and/or socially unacceptable symbols in my opinion...eg: the Nazi flag..
@OwnerOfMany Yes, totally agree with you on this. Violence will lead to more violence. Hatred begets hatred. "You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one." 🌷
@basilfawlty89 You would lose that bet. Now go back to sucking on your moms tit and shut the fuck up. Oh, that's right, you can't shut the fuck up. You can not stand not having the last word.
