Hired for remote position which now isn’t ?

Hey guys! I’ve been a digital marketer for about 7 years. I’ve worked for several top 10 tech companies, 2 fortune 300s etc. Over the last few years I’ve started working as a consultant and haven’t stepped foot in an office in years. I’ve found I work very well remotely. I have a great office setup etc. with that being said I interviewed for a position and within the first 5 minutes I told her, yeah unfortunately this isn’t going to be a fit.. I see that you’re expecting someone to come into the office. That isn’t going to be me although I wish I had that capability.. she immediately changes her tune and says well we can make this remote... I start day 1 and she acts completely surprised like “oh I thought you’d be coming in to the office”.. like huh?!?!....... I remind her about our talk and she says “oh well, at least maybe you could come in a couple days a week” and for this first week I need you here every day. eventually this will be remote... she also during that week decides to make me full time vs the part time we had talked about.. just a total stretch from what I thought the original agreement was.. she asks me if I can just commit to being in the office for the first week... I do. With flying colors. well 2nd week rolls around.. I remind her about working from home.. she tells me she actually prefers it be 3 weeks. Well here we are week 3.. she’s hired 2 other people and we are crammed in a tiny office.. I’m driving an hour each way to get to work.. and I’m finding myself unable to focus in an office. It’s driving me nuts. I know she tells me I only need to stick it out another week but I’m starting to get frustrated and lose trust and as grateful as I am for the opportunity I also have others knocking on my door to work remotely.. and because if all of this I’m also starting to drop balls with my other arrangements like some part time work I have on the side.. we’ve had to rearrange our childcare etc.. I feel so bad I’ve worked for her for a couple weeks and am at a point where I might need to just quit. Can anyone offer advice? Today I think I’m going to call in, I’m also off tomorrow.. and maybe talk with her Thursday.. I’m not sure if I should just make an excuse for today or just explain it over the phone.. or should I wait for it to pass over like today and tomorrow.. and chat with her in person Thursday? Anyhow does this sound crazy to anyone else? I feel like I’ve been baited and switched a little. I’ve spent plenty of time learning the job it’s not hard.. and I’m an expert in marketing which is what she hired me for. Not to sit in an office twiddling my thumbs.

You might wanna start communicating with her via email.
It's easier to make your case when you have their words in writing.

Quit. Now. She's manipulating you. She's lied to you from the start. It's only going to get worse, not better. Take the other offers and get back on top of your work for other clients.

Tell her you need to go back to work remotely starting next week. If she can't do that or tries to manipulate you, walk away and take the other jobs.

I have a high quality medical product that needs marketing but from what I've been seen it's too expensive to do.

I could not work with a liar. Boundaries are important.
