I can definitely explain it. I had a stalker several years ago who eventually broke into my house in the middle of the night. Thankfully, I have a menacing and very protective German Sheppard, and I keep a pistol in my room by my bed. My phone was out in the kitchen, so I just stayed in my room with my pistol aimed at the door and my dog with his teeth bared. He saw us two and ran.

I have some cameras around my home and they recorded the guy taking off in a vehicle. I turned that over to my neighbor (who's a detective) and they eventually found and arrested him. I wasn't the first apparently, and he had a violent record. I didn't need to know that part. That was the most terrifying night I can remember.

A hallucination that paralyzed me near midday while I was chilling in bed. A voice told me if I want, I can become extremely "successful and lucky". I just have to say "yes". It was a deep, hoarse, sinister voice. I had flashes of times that I was hurt, bullied, dismissed, vulnerable, and the voice told me all of this could change if only I agreed to team up.
I tried shaking my head to say "no" and snap out of it, but I was paralyzed. LMAO. Then I started to hear screams. Of my loved ones. It was weird. Everything started to swirl before my eyes. My vision was reddish. I couldn't breathe. Finally everything imploded into my chest with a loud thud. I was finally able to gasp for air and move. I ran out of the room and told my sister. I was very scared. It was extremely real. I have no psychotic illness. Nothing of the sort happened before or after this. I still wonder what it all meant.

@assemblingaknob damn now that is crazy... hmm I wonder what that was too. Maybe some form of conscious dreaming or daydreaming. Wow that's a weird one.
I was 17 it was new years eve and my parents were dropping me off to meet up with my husband who had flew to greece to spend holidays together. As we were walking to the car I had intrusive thoughts of the kind 'what if someone placed a bomb in your car and it set off as soon as you opened the door, etc'. Anyway nothing bad happened and I spent new years with him. The morning after I got home and my dad was on the phone with family and apparently a distant cousin had died after a bomb was planted in his car. Fun stuff

When I was 5 years old, my mother went into the hospital for an operation. She said it would take 5 days. Instead, she came home 5 WEEKS later. My aunt, who was taking care of me, called the hospital daily; they said she'd been transferred to another facility but they refused to tell my aunt where she was. My aunt, a normally calm sensible woman, yelled at them demanding they tell us where my mother was. But we never did find out.

When she finally came home, there was no warning. One day a black car drove up to our house and she got out along with 3 women who were strangers to us. They walked up to our door and walked into the house using my mother's key.

And...my mother was not the same woman. It's as if they'd just put another woman into her body. There was a major personality shift. She didn't greet me, hug me, or show any interest in me when she arrived. I tried to hug her but she pushed me away. And she had been a very loving affectionate mother. After 5 weeks away, she was a whole different person. And she never returned to her former personality. I had been an adored daughter. But now she had only anger and contempt for me. She had, somehow, while in this mysterious hospital/facility, lost her love for me. It didn't seem possible but that's what had happened. Can a hospital surgically remove love and affection from a person? I don't think so, but that's what it looked like and felt like to me back then.

I still don't know what happened to her. I have a few totally paranoid theories about it. But, I really don't know. She changed and never changed back. The mother I'd known was gone and never came back.

I suppose it would have to be when my father had throat cancer years ago. He would go and sit downstairs some nights and if I heard him I would see if he was ok. This particular night I checked on him and he seemed ok. As I went back upstairs I heard this voice, at least I think that’s what it was, saying I had to go back he was going to die. I went back and ten minutes later he did die

@Ian123 that's very six sense maybe you two just had such a close connection. Your soul knew something was about to happen. Either way I am sorry to hear about your loss.

Out of the blue, while I was at the beach, my vision started getting narrower and narrower until the point I saw all black, and yellow/purple "spots". I had to sit, and after a good 10-15 seconds everything got back to normality. I think low blood pressure.
