@Stereoguy Yes. Born and raised here, and the town I live in now is only about 10 miles from the one I grew up in.

@Stereoguy That's cool. I live in the southwestern part of the state, near the West Virginia border and not too far from North Carolina and Tennessee.

@Stereoguy I-81 is about 45 miles from where we are. I-64 runs through our area along with routes 60 and 220 which lead to 81.

@Stereoguy It is a nice place, it takes us about roughly an hour and a half to get there.

@Stereoguy I know where Skyline Drive is...lots of caverns to visit in that area. It's a good bit north of us though so we don't get there often.

@Stereoguy I could be wrong but I think it connects with the Blue ridge Parkway. The closest cities to us are Roanoke (50 miles away) and Lexington (42-45 miles away).

@Stereoguy Roanoke is nice...we visit it whenever we can. It's a little too big and busy to live there for our tastes though.

@Stereoguy We live in town but it's a small town atmosphere. We'd prefer to live out in the country though with alot more peace, quiet, and privacy.

@Stereoguy One day we'd like to buy some property and build our dream home on it, don't know if it will ever happen but it's our dream. We've been fortunate with the virus (only a few cases so far) and rioting is non existent here.

@Stereoguy We've had a few protests but they remained peaceable enough.

@Stereoguy Young people have threatened riots here but the citizens said "Hell no! Not here you won't!"
