I bought a handgun and im kinda scared of it.
I dont want to sell it since i feel like its going to be a waste. its so hard to use, plus i feel like im going to hurt myself. I have not even shot it yet.

What caliber? Most firearms have dummy rounds that you can purchase.
When I bought my first firearm, I loaded and unloaded that thing so many times with the dummy rounds. When I finally felt comfortable, I went to the range.
If you're just going to be afraid of it... get rid of it. The world will be a safer place.
My opinion... keep cleaning and practicing with it. When you're ready... take a lesson or a knowledgeable friend.
