Depending on what it is that's getting to me. If it's my mind messing with me through depression...I tend to vent some, play computer games or try to watch a movie or two. Some times interacting with friends can be helpful.

If it's something more like being dumped, a loss of a friendship or friend or something I have little control over, then usually talking with or spending time with friends is the way for me. I don't like to be left to my own thoughts when pain or loss is involved.

As far as fool proof? Not 100% no. There are things that I sometimes can't get rid of and I just have to do my best to ignore them, ride it out and let time wear it away from heart and mind. I have found that keeping myself busy helps, doing things that I enjoy really helps the most. Quiet, alone times don't help me during blue moods.

@MrPerditus1 Good answer. Thanks.

@Tomorrow You're so welcome. I find that even with friends being online, I have a few that I can usually voice with on Skype or Discord and they have been there for me. A couple know what I'm dealing with because they too have a lot going on. So we've been there for each other.

Worst times for me is late night to early morning. I don't sleep a lot, but they do and I'm pretty much alone throughout the night, like now. It's almost midnight where I am and until around 5 AM, everyone I know is asleep. So I game and watch movies and come here.

I really do hope this helps. 🤗🌷

@MrPerditus1. I know what you mean. Most people I know are asleep too. *shrug*. I usually watch movies.

@Tomorrow Same, lucky for me, I have tons of single player games as well.

@MrPerditus1 Plus you're right, the worst is through the night.

@Tomorrow It really is. But if you ever need an ear or just someone to shoot the breeze with to pass time and I'm around, hit me up, poke me (not too hard, never know where that finger might hit I move around a bit) or if not me, I'm sure someone else here would be happy to talk about movies, shows or anything that isn't blue mood inspiring.

@MrPerditus1 Thanks. Same here. Sometimes, just a little convo does wonders.

@Tomorrow Thank you as well and so true. Just being able to reach out, be heard and hear others is a relief from everything else. It reminds us, we're not as alone as we may feel.
