If I drop soap in dirt is the soap dirty or is the dirt clean?

If a tree falls in the forest, and no one's around to hear it, does it make a sound?

Or, if no light falls on an object, does it still have a colour?

Or, which came first, the chicken, or the egg?

Or, maybe even... If a turtle doesn't have a shell, is it homeless, or just naked?
