Thank you for being a realist.

Same with peace, for similar reasons.
Doesn’t make either a bad goal to strive for. 🤔

@SW-User True equality is where everything and ever aspect of our lives would be equal for very single person in the world, no one would have anything more than another in any way. There would be nobody that would even be in a position of authority, the Brain Surgeon, the scientist, the street sweeper, the unemployed etc would all receive the same amount of remuneration regardless of what they do or don't do
Do you think that will work ???

We do have equality, if you are prepared to work for something you can have it irrespective of colour religion or sex.
however if all you want is a free hand out you are going to be disappointed.

This may be the way things are in the UK. But if you’re going to claim that’s how things are in the U.S., you’re mistaken, even now. And I say that as someone who has never received nor sought any “handouts”.

@bijouxbroussard Yes there are Equal rights and there should be, but that does not make for equality, we as humans will never strive to be merely equal we strive to be better as we are a competitive species. You have also got to take into account that some people have greater drive, are willing to do more to improve their lives than others are.

@goldenorchid Not at all Socialism does not succeed at creating True Equality
True you can try all you want but you can never get rid of hatred
Longleggedlady · 31-35, F
@ExperienceDLT You cannot change other people only they can change themselves

Ditto. It's fantasy.
Longleggedlady · 31-35, F
@Mirage And a dangerous one when humans cannot realize this
Mirage · F
@Longleggedlady Self delusion and positivity bias are rampant. They don't tangibly change anything.
Longleggedlady · 31-35, F
@Mirage The only person that is actually in your way and stops you from making something of yourself in life is yourself.

This is nonsense, we lived in anarchic societies for 10s of 1000s of years and survived happily before so called civilisation. the 'state' adn religion are to blame for everything. John Lennon had the right idea - imagine there's no countries, no religion too - no authority, no hierarch, simple
Longleggedlady · 31-35, F
@IrishGuy There is and always has been a Hierarchy of some sort going way back even to our ancestors at the beginning

longlegged racial harmony and the end to prejudice discrimination and bigotry that would be one of the greatest feats achieved by man but without a change to human nature as you rightly say it always will be a non stater
Longleggedlady · 31-35, F
@smiler2012 It would be great if we could achieve those feats and even those are to say the least unlikely to ever be totally achieved in the world, you would need for everyone of us on the planet to like everyone all of the time which has an extremely impossible feat to achieve. But even if you could achieve those feats we are by nature a competitive species, nobody sets of an objective in their lives to be equal to someone else, we set the objective to be better and achieve more for ourselves and our family. So that alone will destroy any hope of equality
It will never be achieved because the world is full kml of too many fucking idiots
Longleggedlady · 31-35, F
@ExperienceDLT That is not the case it is simple that in human nature some possess the will and the drive to achieve, where others do not an will not do anything to improve themselves in anyway so there will always be inequality
