This is for the people that don't believe black lives matter

I will not silence you in the comments. I will not block you. Neither will I report you. If you want to let others know that you think any assaults or killings were the victims fault then you say it. I want you to be clear and vocal so other users can see what they are fighting against. I want other users to see how people like you exist. They should know the kind of hateful and bitter things that come out of your head. I want to them to see how such heartless things can breed in society. The people fighting again police brutality deserve to know how this happens.

I was not happy when I saw disgusting things posted on my Black Lives Matter post. I thought about deleting the replies or reporting them, but trying to shut you up didn't seem fair. I understand now that it is something that can be used to our advantage. It will remind us of the reason we are fighting. It will help us to keep defending the ones that need protection. We all deserve to be heard and I will not take away that right from anyone. So, if you want to show how little empathy you have then do it. I want you to keep the fire burning. Do it for all of us.

Now, you understand the true value and meaning of free speech. It means protecting all speech, even the speech you don't like or disagree with.

I personally think that black lives do matter, so do white lives, Hispanic lives, Asian lives.. etc. If it makes me a racist to think every race is equal and important, then so be it.

If it makes me racist to point out that not even the majority of cops are bad, or that police brutality happens to every race when bad cops are involved, that's fine.

I will not stop speaking the truth just because it's uncomfortable, unpopular and angers/offends some people.
@PrivateHell I completely agree with everything you said. Every person does matter and not all cops are bad. You are right. The problem we have now is that African Americans are suffering from police brutality so badly and that many people disregard them. We have to fight against that.
@RedtheEmerald sadly, as I have been pointing out for days now, it's a media lie that blacks are the most targeted, or that police killing and brutality are so rampant in America.

Does it happen? Yes, and it does need to stop no matter what race is involved. Are there actual racist cops out there? A few, but nowhere near what is believed or reported, and again they need to be stopped.

Statistically (according to Federal, not media, statistics) every single year more whites are killed by police than blacks, and tge total number of deaths (all races combined) doesn't even make up close to 1% of all arrests. And that isn't even considering the fact that most deaths by cop are actually legal and due to tge suspect's own violent resistance/actions.

Las year, there were over 8 million arrests, but only 1004 fatalities by police. Of those, 370 were white, while 235 were black. The gap between the two is actually pretty average for each year, while the total.number goes up and down.
@RedtheEmerald Understand that this is a Trump supporter.
@bijouxbroussard doesn't make me wrong. Especially since you've given no facts to refute what I say here.

But, I truly hope you have a wonderful evening.
@bijouxbroussard As soon as he started victimizing himself and brought out statistics I was aware.

@PrivateHell Most people that support Trump are assholes. I'm glad to see that you are an exception. Thank you for being kind.
@RedtheEmerald wow. You insult /lie about me, then compliment me all in the same reply thread... okay.

I never "victimized" myself, and if you knew anything about me at all (even from my years here on SW and EP), you would know I am NO ONE'S victim.
As for the stats, they come straight from federal records. They may be uncomfortable or unpopular to hear, but they are very real. And our country is being shredded right now because people are buying into lies. Tge truth must be told no matter who hates it.

@PrivateHell I looked up your stats...
But whites make up 72% of the population so those numbers don’t reflect the percentage by racial population
According to government statistics in 2019, 235 black people were shot to death by police as opposed to 370 white, and 158 hispanics. There are 241 cases where the person's race is unknown. The reason for the fatal shooting or whether it was justifiable is not available in this study. It also should be noted that African Americans make up about 13% of the U.S. population according to the 2016 census, meaning the percentage of blacks and hispanics killed by police is very high, based on per capita.

72% of Americans are white.

@KaysHealingPath true Miss Kay, but there are other factors involved as well.

Like how even as low (relatively speaking) as police brutality and killing is compared to how many people are arrested; the number of unjustifiable or even legally questionable deaths by the police is extremely small. Not every police killing is racially motivated or due to a bad cop. In most cases the suspect truly leaves the officers with no choice. (This was not the case with George Floyd, but is in several other well known cases.)

The number of crimes committed by race. Last year, of all the violent crimes in the U.S., 88% were committed by African Americans, and they are barely 13% of the total population.

I am not saying that all blacks are criminals, or citing this statistic to be racist. I am only saying that Americans are not being told the entire story and are even being fed lies by the media a lot of times.

@PrivateHell there are more POC in jail for petty and BS crimes because the cops and DA had an agenda.
POC are prosecuted for more severely than whites.
Whites get slaps on the wrist for rape and taken to burger king after spraying black church goers with bullets before they’re booked for their crimes. Meanwhile a POC that’s not resisting may die because a cop felt a handcuffed man on the ground on his stomachs life isn’t worth the oxygen in their vicinity.
@KaysHealingPath I agree that these instances you mention do happen, and that when they do we as a people (white, black, Hispanic, Asian and Martian) need to speak with one voice against those who do these things.

The issues i have, and am talking about here are these...

1. These issues aren't always the case and don't happen every single time. But they are focused upon and spotlighted like they do so that people believe they are. Regardless, they do need to be changed.

2. The sentencing problem has always been a problem and isn't always necessarily a race issue, but is always made into one. The white kid that served a few months for rape (and got Burger King) served less time than other whites in jail for shop lifting. But of course the media used a black man to stir hatred and outrage. The story wasn't about the time the black man got, but the ridiculous slap on the wrist the white rapist pig got. In most cases (and you can check) where black man and a white man did the same crime but one received a worse sentence (and yes, sometimes the black man gets the lighter sentence, but that isn't reported either) it is because one has other circumstances, like a history or record the other doesn't have.

3. Again, there is no "open season" on black men by cops. I gave the numbers earlier but there is a part of that statistic that gets ignored more than any other. Out of 8 million arrests last year, there were only 1004 deaths total. If things were truly as the media and those defending the media reports say, and the cops were hunting black men, the number of deaths (especially the 235 black ones) would be much much higher.

I agree our system has problems and we all need to work together to fix them. But, people are being deliberately divided and enraged by the media and politicians on issues like this with half truths, exaggerations, stereotypes and lies. The reason is because it is much easier to manipulate a person acting on emotion than it is one acting on intellect and truth.

@PrivateHell Well that would be you. Much of the stats you posted here are false. There is now 18-20% Black Americans in the United States as of today. Not counting the ones in Canada, The Islands, or South America. Strike one. Many Black Americans are convicted, harassed, and convicted unfairly. While most Whites get off free even less prison time for very serious crimes. Blacks are 3 times more likely to be shot during a non altercation stop. More likely to be profiled. More likely to be given more time for the same crimes as their counterparts too. And the fact that you are not a person of color means you have no clue about what it is like to walk in their shoes daily. This is nothing more than false information being fed to ideologue extremist who think they are Superior based on these erroneous stats alone. You're no different than the media hogs who use images to divide. Maybe you should rethink your existence as a human being and see the truth for what it really is first before judging. Just saying. 🙂
@Zonuss true to form Zonuss. Just about every thing you posted here is a complete fabrication. Sadly you aren't even capable of seeing you are playing into very tactics I wrote about.

According to the census bureau. Blacks make up 13.4% of the United States population. Not even sure why you mentioned Canada, the 8slands or South America, unless it was to further prove you don't understand the subject... message received loud and clear.

As for your other stats, I got mine from the FBI website and the census bureau. I don't know where your numbers come from, but they seem a bit off.

You calling me an extremist and an ideologue hoes so far beyond hypocrisy, they need to name it after you.

From the start of this mess, I have preached unity of the races and warned against those on both sides that try to divide and peddle false information. For just as long, you have been attempting to call me out personally, used divisive derogatory language toward anyone that even disagrees a little with you, and now cite false fact to continue a false narrative.

I don't know you (nor you me) well enough to try to tell you who you are or what you believe as you continue to do me. Part of me says you seem like a decent enough person otherwise. You're just so passionate on this issue (and it's understandable) that you refuse to hear or consider any points but your own, and consider anyone who disagrees or has a different perspective an enemy.

It's sad really. Because I am not your enemy, and in the end I think we both want the same world. I just think we disagree on how to get there and how to fix it now.

Have a great day.

@PrivateHell No. It's just more lies. Exaggerations. Useless garbage as usual. Your Jedi Mind Tricks don't work on me or anyone else here. You're out of touch with reality and it shows. But ignorance is a bliss. But a low vibrational entity such as yourself is use to being thst. I understand.🙂
@Zonuss oh well. I still wish you the best. But I'm done. Take care of yourself and be well.
@Zonuss Your comments aren't wrong.
