Covid - because what we don't know....we seem to pretend to "get back to normal" or "pretend it's not there" but it's still there!
The riots - frankly and I think it's been discussed ad nauseum here and elsewhere - it has absolutely nothing (all caps NOTHING) with this poor man's desk. People can talk revolution, etc...but you know the kid laying on the floor at Target screaming for a toy....eventually his mommy picks him up and takes him home.....same thing.

Government reactions in both situations scared me.

Neither. I'm not near the protests and the covid isn't bad here. I'd be more scared of protests if I was closer to them.

Both - protests are scary, because you cannot reason with a mob. COVID...well because you cannot reason with the virus either..

Protests have caused a lot of money damage but very little human life lost, as of yet.

Neither. Covid is over and the riots will soon end.
