Yep. Since the lock down I have been doing more work in the front garden and the insects are coming in droves.

Yes, flies are the worst here but the spiders help with that.

I use insecticide spray.

The trouble is of course that would also kill anything innocent or even useful within the vapour, such as spiders.

It's only the germ-laden flies I want to kill, and only when they are in the house with the consequent health risk to me.

@MeowsoliniReturns every night they get on the window screens and buzz & knock around on the screen. Scares the boy. I told him it might be aliens trying to get in the house. 🤣

@MeowsoliniReturns they have those long fingers and can claw on the screens and make a lot of noise. He goes around checking to make sure the doors are locked now before he goes to sleep.
