In your opinion, do people really have free will? Is it simply an illusion?

Maeve19 one thing I would say to people your age -
Yes the world is going to try to influence you to live a certain way.
What one should do is avoid situations that you cannot easily get out of.
Examples -
Don't get married nor have kids til later, do not get hooked on drugs, booze, or even nicotine. Do not get in trouble with the law. Do not join the military. Do not get into debt if you do not have to...

When one DOES get into those situations, the world treats you like a dumbass, like you should have known better (even though you do not).
But here is the worst part - the world pushes for people to make poor choices, especially when you are young. By the time you get older (some point after 30) and one's life is a wreck, finally the world lays off, figuring you know better by now.

Does any of this make sense?
