Why is breastfeeding such a big deal?
Some woman (like me) can’t pump. Some babies refuse to be covered, eating in a bathroom is gross. you barely see anything like why do you care

@hippyjoe1955 my uncle said before the Cheesecake photo thing that happened during WWII nobody cared if a woman breastfed her baby & they’d even do it in church without covering the baby, because it was hot back then and no a/c in church. Nobody stared or made a big deal out of it.

@cherokeepatti A bit of a funny story but after the birth of our first child Dear Wife and I were invited out to dine at the fanciest restaurant in town by my parents. Of course we had to take the baby for them to show off their new grandson. Between the time we ordered and the food arrived young son decided he was hungry and so Dear Wife carefully draped herself and let the baby suckle. The owner of the restaurant came by and yanked the cover off Dear Wife and baby saying "let's see the little one. Dear Wife had exposed both breasts as she nursed and was caught completely unaware that she would suddenly be exposed that way in front of her inlaws.
