It looks to me like he's still working... is he also trained to fetch help to you once he has taken you to a safe place to sit, by any chance???

He seems to be waiting for a command of some sort.

we are working on that now. I’m trying to train go find daddy. But it’s a work in progress

@Soramarie That would explain his alertness, thank you.

It would be handy for you when he learns to fetch someone to you, too... I was thinking of the scenario where you may get sick but couldn't find a seat in time more than anything else. I don't like the idea of you either sitting or crawling on the floor while this virus is around.

@HootyTheNightOwl absolutely! He’s only 1 so he’s learning every day
@Soramarie He's doing great for such a young dog.

Hopefully, I'll be able to get one for myself one day.

I like the idea of having someone with me to get help when I fall over/collapse when I go out by myself. It has happened once and I've had far too many close calls of it happening again for my comfort.

If I don't get any answers on the cause of it soon, a service dog may be the route that I take in preparation for the fact that I'm just going to have to learn to live with it.

@HootyTheNightOwl hey you can owner train. Keep in mind if you plan to do brace work you need a dog about 50% of your weight. If you have questions pm me I’ll help
