EP was a lot friendlier withe fewer pervs. This site is too picky with their sensorship. Yet they allow all these sex maniacs on here but delete sweet innocent pictures.

Not many. EP was a lot more populated. It was easier to meet people that you could relate to and keep up with what your friends were doing because of how it was organized. Your feed was centered almost exclusively around what your friends were up to and what people in your groups had posted. It allowed you to get closer to people and sort of have a sense of community there.

On here, the format is very similar, but it definitely feels different. I'm not sure if it's because people are so jaded at having lost many of their friends, or because the stories are very difficult to access and thus harder to get to know new people, or because memes and selfies are a lot more popular and have replaced actual questions to interact with. It's a lot lonelier on here for me personally
@TinyViolins I can resonate well with this analysis

the difference is that nobody in EP was talking about SW, which is a proof that TIME IS FUKING LINEAR....no? 🙄

Ep was a lot more real and it was more easy to fit in and you could post anything you wanted unlike here you are restricted.

Bigger, crowded, open minded, and all kinds of fucked up

@Nanori It was amazing 😌

@Nanori Haha, that's the way I like it though. The internet was made to be the wild west. I miss the old days of forums when I saw things that genuinely made me go "wtf?"
Things like that makes your days way more exciting.

The sites themselves are pretty much the same. Similar Worlds lost a few features from EP such as the ability to blog, but pretty much everything that EP had is here, and SW has even made some improvements like the ability to make yourself appear offline without a paid membership.

The users, however, seem quite different to me. There's more low effort shitposts on here than EP it feels like. Also a lot less fetish users it seems like. There was a TON of fetish people on EP, and some even considered it a fetish site. Of course internet culture was different as well and there weren't as many memes.

Other than that, there's not much difference between the two. I think pretty much everyone on here misses EP though because of the more large userbase.

The people you met and experiences had.

There is also meetme which is very similar to this site and EP. Of course they work under the guise of being a "dating site" but it is the same as here - people talking nonsense, block-happy, and men hitting on anything with a vagina.

BTW I am curious still since EP came up -
There was something people have mentioned like EP Sally or something, saying it was a complete ain in the ass. What was it?

BTW I was on EP for a short time before it it got locked so I don't remember much about it
This site is open.. EP doesn't exist anymore

EP was a shithole
strongbow · 46-50, M
@CestManan There was no moderation, the supposed moderators didnt give a shit.. it was a free for all and turned into garbage
@strongbow The last few years were shit. Trolls and perverts infested it till they closed shop. When the site started it was pleasant for most everyone.

@strongbow I thought EP was nice outside of the perverts, which you can just easily fix by blocking them and going on with your day. People on there felt really special for me.

Here on the other hand, things are more "safe", but in return, there's a lot more low effort shitposts. That's just my personal opinion though.
