Have you noticed that the Japanese are a little strange about toilets?

@NickiHijab Whenever I run into Japanese porn online it's often in the bathroom, or around the toilet. And in the Silent Hill series, made by the Japanese they have you digging around in the toilet at one point, and ugh. There's alot of toilets in those games. I also read that toilets in their horror genre goes back to fears from the old days, of falling down into pit toilets. Which is certainly a valid fear, it'd be a nasty way to go.

@Allelse Interesting. I wonder if they have folklore based on stories about toilets lol. Something must keep this reoccurring theme alive.

@NickiHijab Their folklore is filled with all kinds of awesomely dark stuff. And like I said, there was a great fear which arose from falling in, especially to do with children because they were more at risk of going into the pit toilets. So some kind of toilet demon that steals children would make sense.
