muhammad ali, mike tyson even conceded that he would lose during an interview. another key point, tyson says that when he tries to fight someone, he tries to break them mentally or look for a sliver of doubt and thats when he knows hes got them. because once theyre doubting, the fight is already over. in his mind, tyson already doesnt think he can win, so he wouldnt.

@Zaxel I'm not sure of Tysons words. He might have thought differently if Ali was an actual contender in his time. He could just as easily been giving credit to the past greats.
Tyson would have had Ali in their prime. Like you said unless Tyson allowed his mind game to fail. But..... Tyson should have him.

@Zaxel If that's how you want to see it. Just don't think Ali would win. Personally I think that was BS on Tyson's part trying to be more mental than he really is. He got into peoples heads by his shear bullyness.
I honestly don't think Ali would be able to wear him down in their prime. Ali just has more legendary status and truthfully? Ali was more mental game than anything despite his technical expertise.
