Why can’t some men do nice things without an alternative motive?
I was with my friend and her car stopped working, and this old guy stopped and gave us a ride. Granted we took it because it was the both of us and we would have been in for a couple hour walk otherwise. I only got a ride from some guy before but he just ended up being super Christian and told me bible verses about life getting better.
Anyway, this guy kept mentioning sex and he asked me if I “fooled around” because he “just had to ask”. 😑
I hate being eyed and then my paranoid thoughts rush in about him wanting to kill us. He was old and I reckon I could have kicked his ass but who knows, maybe he had a gun.
I've run into the born agains and while I'm a Christian myself, I honestly wanted to set myself on fire after 5 minutes of that.
I don't know why people are like that, either. I've done things for attractive women--that's just the way the world works--without hitting on them. You get to have a convo and look at a pretty girl while you help with her car, sounds like a good deal to me. Not thinking of a hookup. If she wanted to give me her number or something, fine. If not, no big deal.
@666Maggotz that sounds like a nice positive way to live but I would imagine would lead to people being able to take advantage of you. most people are not genuine or kind, they may be good at pretending it but I think given the first chance most people get, they will screw over others if it benefits them in anyway
