Would you rather be in quaratine or would you rather be considered "essential staff" and have to go to work?

Quarentined. My hub has an essential job but requested to stay home as the numbers of deaths are increasing rapidly in my county.

I'm considered essential staff so i have to go to work.
The upside is the regular money.
The downside is there's no social distancing in my office of about 150 people.

@SW-User I understand my friend. I have to go to work too. Fortunately, I work the night shift and there are only about 7 staff here. But we do touch everything the previous shifts have touched.

@MeowsoliniReturns Yes the cleaning aspect is a bit of a worry. My work has a full time team of cleaners but they can't be everywhere at once.

@4meAndyou How awful :( My job depresses me as well. I work at a juvenile detention center and see so many abused and neglected kids. After this pandemic is over I plan to look for a new line of work. All the best to you! 🤗

I'm self-employed in a one man company, but considered essential business because my work is for critical infrastructure. I am fortunate to be able to go to work and there is no social distancing risk because I am the only person left in my building.
