What’s more dangerous for a child growing up, extremely submissive and relaxed parents or extremely nosey and strict?

History suggests strict parents are usually more involved and therefore the child is better educated and disciplined. Relaxed parents usually have kids who are more independent and creative. Really just depends what you want. I prefer if a kid is better educated and disciplined. So I would favour the former.

Having parents uninvolved and submissive is very damaging imho. Nosey and strict are usually invested in their child.
Any time you are in one extreme or another, neither are usually the best options. Somewhere closer to the middle is usually best. Strict in the places that are necessary e.g. Safety. Lax in other areas e.g. Social activities.
