@Picklebobble2 The Germans had ordered theirs routinely from a company in China. That company just happened to be American owned, so he stepped in and purloined the whole lot... 200,000 for the Berlin police. In the case of those for France, haggling was taking place on the runway as the cargo plane was preparing to take off. 3x was offered. Voila!
He has the morals of an alley-cat.
