What are photo likes based on mostly? (On other social media sites not here)

As discovered looks alone isn't the answer. My guess is virtue signalling and ass licking plays a big part. I guess getting fewer like just for being yourself is more of an achievement.

I usually just go for shock value, hence why half my profile pictures over the years have been me doing weird shit like me licking an ashtray or seig heiling or balancing a quart of Ben & Jerry's on my head.
