Will other states follow this example from Ca.?

I read recently that legislation is being passed that during this health crisis that landlords will not be able to evict tenants unable to pay rent, or the inability for home= buyers to meet mortgage payments.

I hear they had a problem in Britain with landlords evicting their tenants if they work at hospitals or clinics because they're afraid that the person was exposed to the virus. Now the British government is having to pass laws saying you can't just up and evict someone for that.
