How do you feel about the fact that in this generation, laying out your feelings on the table is perceived as weakness?

I find it wants everyone to share thier feelings?
And sometimes gets mad when you disagree.
Not putting the younger down,just my observation.
I was raised by parents who came from the WW2 era (had older parents),we didn't really wear our hearts on our sleeves.
