I'm in Hamburg, Germany, one week ago my whats app was full of corona virus jokes. Then the first confirmed case here. Hamburg has a 1.8m population. Three days later it was over 40 as testing became widespread. Today they hit the alarm buzzer. All sports leagues stopped, any event with over 1000 visitors banned. Schools closed down, emergency support for all hospitals to deal with the situation. Where possible people ordered to work from home. I went shopping today at ALDI, probably the biggest store chain in Germany. IT WAS FUKIN EMPTY of all essentials. Please heed my advice, start bunkering now before as here in one day everything suddenly changes.

We know already. The most important item, toilet paper, is all taken away.

@AmmieBell I found that strange too, but without trying to hype this shit further, I'm just saying we went from 1 case to virtual lockdown in 7 days, no harm in stocking up on non-perishables if you can get them.

@plasticfantastic yeah for sure

Always good to have those stocked up before crisis hits as well

I live in Washington in the USA and that's all happened here too. Lines were out the door yesterday and now stores are empty. The only exception is to-door delivery, where they order things online and a worker brings it out so people don't have to go into the store

Right now where I live in Pennsylvania USA. It’s toilet paper and I got enough I hope. But I’m sure there will be more stuff that will run out
