How do you handle silence treatment?

I seriously can’t handle that anymore.

If he pulls the silence treatment on me I pull the credit card from the drawer and go shopping 🛍☺️

Eh. If get the silent treatment, I walk away. I'm too old and tired for that particular game.

That is passive aggresive behavior. I refuse to be a victim anymore. I go for a walk, read a book or call a friend.

I don't know the first thing about relationships, but I think one lover 'punishing' the other in such a petty, miserable way is an excellent sign that the relationship has failed.

They never talk much anyway

Not well at all. One of the most annoying things to me.

We don’t do that much anymore . Everything is a competition with me in that regard and I will give back in spades . I would much rather he jump in the middle of me and tell me what I’ve done and express his displeasure so I can process it . I almost always apologize . I do the same for him.

You move on and go about your day, and don't give in when the person gets upset.

I used to want to talk it out, but anymore, I simply ignore the situation.

Ah I’ve been around that all my life. A favorite of both my mom and husband. I find it irritating and pointless and just go about my business til they get their head out their ass. 🙄🤷‍♀️
