What should we do about the climate change?

Do you think we've reached a point of no return?
AnukBinary · M
We've been in climate change since the last ice age
MotorcycleIrene · 51-55, F
@AnukBinary I mean the more recent one.
AnukBinary · M
@MotorcycleIrene well the poles are shifting. The north is moving south and the South moving north.

Now if you would like to discuss the chemtrails, they are real and weather control is well in the grasp of the U.S. government HAARP.
4meAndyou · F
No. I think if all the multi-billionaires who like to pretend they are SO concerned would plant billions of trees right NOW...through the agencies already in place to re-forest the Amazon, and reforest our burned areas, we would be okay in VERY short order.
MotorcycleIrene · 51-55, F
@4meAndyou Can they do that?
4meAndyou · F
@MotorcycleIrene My question to the multi-billionaires like Bloomberg and Steyer and so many others is this: "IF you are really concerned, why are you NOT funding the National Arbor Day Foundation, which plants trees in the Amazon AND everywhere else? Why are you not funding the National Forest Foundation in the USA?"

TREES trap carbon. In 25 years, ONE silver maple tree will trap 400 pounds of carbon from the atmosphere. Trees release oxygen.

@4meAndyou @MotorcycleIrene Yes, Some are doing that.

NOTHING, climate change is another word for TAX
ABCDEF7 · M
What we can do is try adopt more natural life style which has low carbon footprints and is also healthier for us. :)
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
Gotta change our ways or our ways will change us.
MotorcycleIrene · 51-55, F
@Picklebobble2 I think you're right.
Northerner · 70-79, M
I think we have all started to do our bit. Even the simplest things can make a big difference. Not sure we can stop what is happening altogether.
sighmeupforthat · 46-50, M
i'm not even sure why people think we can.

we have changes in climate that are of massive scale once in .... a eon or three million.
curiosi · 61-69, F
I don't know what is more arrogant, to say we caused it or that we can fix it.
Jonno · 36-40, M
I'm not sure if we've reached that point. I certainly hope we haven't.
walabby · 70-79, M
Wait and see what happens...
RubySoo · 56-60, F
We might slow it down but we cant stop it.
It my opinion.....the planet doesnt need us to...or want us to. This is its was of getting rid of us! It will be here thriving long after the human race is gone.....
SW-User
Get ready for Jesus to return. He is the answer.
MotorcycleIrene · 51-55, F
@SW-User When do you believe he will return?
SW-User
@MotorcycleIrene I don’t set dates... no real Christian does. He tells us “no man knows the day or the hour”.
MotorcycleIrene · 51-55, F
@SW-User That's because there isn't one.
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
Fact is, we were about as low a level of CO2 that plant life can stand. Getting it back up a bit might prevent an ice age. It might get too hot to live in some spots.
Success · 26-30, F
Move to where it's nicer, I guess.
MotorcycleIrene · 51-55, F
@Success I don't want to move.
