do smart people have longer attention spans?

(saw this question on a random site and wanted to add my 2 cents)

from my experience....noooooooopppeeeeeee

to be very blunt, i am very smart, im able to do anything well that i put my mind to,

but i have the attention span of a potato.

so i mega stupid.

but seriously, it really sucks, knowing you could do well at almost anything, but your inability to focus makes that almost entirely impossibe.
