Who’s a fan of Quentin Tarantino movies

When I was younger I couldn’t stand them but lately I’ve become a fan, funny how these things happen. 🤷‍♀️🙂
I find them very hit and miss. For one good one he makes one or two terrible ones.

@SirenCalledLuce True, he has made his share of crap as well.
Meh. I think he gets a kick out of getting praise for using the N-bomb more then Eddie Murphy

I think he became a director because no one would hire him as an actor. Now he gets to give himself a role in his movers, lol.

But seriously, I like most of his work.

@VodkaBec But I don't think that Tarantino is as good as Hitchcock was.
VodkaBec · 31-35, F
@Bushranger I’m not an old movie buff but I did enjoy the original Psycho and The Birds. And yes Hitchcock was a master, he was ahead of his time.

@VodkaBec I have to say that I'm an old movie tragic, lol. Especially old sci fi movies

Some of his movies are good.

@SW-User Often they are all over the place so they’re a good exercise in concentration.

@SW-User They are a bit addictive.

I used to be. He should have stuck to what he was good at. Pulp and Reservoir. The rest of his stuff is weak.
VodkaBec · 31-35, F
@SteelHands Pulp Fiction will always be a classic. 👍️

@VodkaBec True Romance, Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction were all good. He never made a good one after that. It was easy to see that he became just another puppet of the social engineering authorities.

The rest of his work was wrecked by phoney themes and over the top nonsense. I decided not to waste any more money on him after Kill Bill. When I saw the next ones getting nonstop promotion I knew his work turned into complete rubbish.

A wispy white female adversary of a shotguns or ninjas (Kill Bill) beating the king of American Shaolin frontier justice... that old west lone vengeance rider portraying everyone as racist enablers of a bigot rapist.

In all honesty the only thing that kept me watching Kill Bill was Uma. And by the time that one was over I felt bad because I thought it would finish her career. Probably didn't help it either.

@JupiterDreams I saw Once Upon Time In Hollywood last night. I didn’t think it was one of his better ones but I couldn’t stop watching it, lol.
