Why am I stilling sing random lines of Christmas carols in Febuary

There is no rule that says you can't. If singing them makes you feel good and happy then by all means sing away.

Cause people never really want let the holidays go.... trying to preserve the cheer and happiness I guess I'm guessing

I was watching a movie the other day, not a Christmas movie, and it had a song playing, only instrumental...took me a moment to realize it was actually a Christmas carol.

Probably for the same reason my parakeets are still yelling Thanksgiving.

Yeah, I hum "Jingle Bells" any time of year, even in the summer.
