What is a sprite?

A sprite can be one of several things. Sprites are a type of mythological creature similar to fairies. Sprite is also a brand of lemon-lime soda. In animation, "sprite" is slang for small images that can interact with the user. And there is a type of upper atmosphere lightning called red sprites.

@quitwhendone Oh, plenty. I just have an infallible memory, and I'm highly extroverted. Meaning I talk to lots of people about lots of things, and anything they tell me sticks in my memory and never leaves. So for example, that animation sprites definition is something that my friend Izzy told me years ago because he's highly interested in animations and cartoons. He mentioned what a sprite is, and even though I wasn't necessarily interested in it, I just remember it ever since.
The sprites lightning thing though comes from when I was in the 8th grade and I went through a period of time where I was weirdly obsessed with exotic forms of lightning, and I used to look them up on Wikipedia and shit like that lol

@quitwhendone Intelligence is often classified as either [i]imitative[/i] or [i]innovative.[/i] The former is the ability to see someone do something, or be told how to do it, and then be able to repeat it yourself, while the latter is the ability to come up with ways to solve problems on your own. Because I don't ever forget anything, my imitative intelligence is superb. It makes me seem smarter than I am lol.
