So my 9 year old has been doing her hair a lot lately and she damaged it real bad. I had to cut it because she cut it pretty bad and I didn’t make it

any better so we had to shave her real low. I feel bad.
Hopefully she doesn’t do it again

At least it was all a mishap. My mother had my hair chopped off at that age just because she decided it was too much trouble to help me brush and comb it. The teasing I got in school was awful. I had pretty blond hair and I felt mutilated.

@MrsCurious She must know by now that this is not your fault and you did not mean for her to suffer from her mistake. Children know when their mothers are being intentionally sadistic. I knew. But your daughter knows you and knows what happened.

Sorry you had to go through this. I’m glad this was not my reason to cut her hair . My goal is to never damage my kids to hurt them or make them go through a phase because of evil in my heart @germanshepard
