So I’ve been thinking and wanna hear some feed back

So If consciousness is a purely human trait, are we better off for it or does it simply lead to greater problems? What are your thoughts on this

We have a heighten sense of responsibility that we have not been living up to...which is the problem.

Ignorance is bliss relieves us of the global responsibility.
