Have you ever asked a serious question here on the SW Q&A and then actually taken the advice you recieved? What was it and how did that go?

The simple answer is certainly no. Its possible that one asks a question, hoping to get the answer one wants; maybe to find a like-minded person. It would be nice to get an answer like "Do you know, I feel exactly the same way!". There's an invite! Sometimes the act of articulating it, helps one's thinking to evolve.

@Tomorrow Its interesting how there are a lot more people who are keen to offer advice than there are to take it. Something to do with ego.

@alan20 Not necessarily ego. I don't ask serious questions here, but if others do, I don't mind giving an honest answer. I don't mind if they don't take my advice, it is their choice. I think ego comes in when you [i]expect[/i] people to take your advice.
