I Can Explain My Last Post

My gf was about to have lunch with her friends and invited me. At the time I was at the library which is kinda close to the cafeteria so I walked there to eat with them. And almost instantaneously they all began to make fun of the mustache. Emma looked genuinely disgusted but tried to play it off by saying she loves me anyway. She also only eats dessert on dessert day (once a week) with one of her other theater friends, Emil. We all ate and then Emma invited me to eat dessert with her, apologizing along the way there and back to the table for making me feel bad. Then I walk her to her next class and, before we get to the building steps, she sees her friend Emil who is the only one who said anything nice about my mustache. Then Emma tells Emil that it's dessert day. Emil gets excited and they plan, right in front of me, to have dinner and dessert. Emma and I planned the day before to go on a dinner date tonight before my rehearsal. Am I wrong for feeling hurt? I'm spiraling and need your help. I'm overthinking. Emma thinks I'm ugly and decided to have this dinner date with her friend right in front of me knowing we planned to eat together for dinner. And the guy makes her laugh and smile more than I do. He's genuinely funny and charming and she's told me that before. I feel like I'm gonna be replaced again like I was with my ex Sarah who cheated on me.I recognize I feel like shit and I'm hurt but I want to stay even-keeled. Should I just straight up tell Emma how I feel? Cuz I feel like I never say what I really think and feel and everyone asks for it but they don't really know what they're asking for.

Mmmm, this will sound harsh but - toughen up enough to speak out.

Your girlfriend should have stood up for you when her friends were ragging on you - THATS A red flag.!

If people are mean - call em out for it - or, learn to laugh along with the joke.

If things like those plans are being made - say something at the time

If you don't speak up, believe me - it's used to happen to me - you get walked over.

I knkw its not an easy thomg to learn to do, and it's scary - but try every now and then - and you'll get better at it.

People are getting more inconsiderate and just don't Care. Sometimes it's jot even a matter of being mean - they just have no empathy at all.

Speak up hon - you deserve better, claim it!
