Durable clothing in classic styles that stays in style till it’s worn out.
Cashiers counting out change old-school style instead of just handing it to you.
Children being taught responsibility and held accountable for it so they’d feel like adults once they become one.
Home Ec as a career option and not being belittled. Look at what’s happened since some colleges closed out that option in classes….fast food restaurants boomed, more processed frozen foods sold in grocery stores, more obesity, more chemicals in food to clog up livers, type II diabetes has become way too common, and a few enterprising people like Martha Stewart becoming extremely wealthy by teaching adults the skills that we were taught in Home Ec.
Health & Hygiene being taught as a mandatory class in high school.
Bartering whatever we have excess of or can make ourselves. Organized regular Swap Meets to help make it easier and to have some community & a little fun on the weekends.
