When should a person upgrade their vehicle

Certain amount of miles, engine hours, when it starts nickel and diming, set amount of time no matter what, before all equity is lost, or when the wheels fall off ????

You mean get a new one? I say pay it off then see how far you can get without making any more monthly car payments...or the wheels fall off. 🚗

My truck is 17 years old, so I'm waiting for the wheels to fall off.

@exexec that's what I tend to do too...haha

When in it is no reliable and you can afford car payments.

I generally do when it starts the nickel and diming. 🤷‍♀️

Just did front end work...which was $1700 in parts...60 miles later, now an exhaust valve failed...gonna be another 800 in parts plus a days labor...260,000km (163,000 miles) on the odometer. It's a 2012 Chev Silverado

Just before the wheels fall off, otherwise its a bitch to get it home again.
When it is destroyed.
