What do you think when an older man says he feels like he’s 20?

Most of the time it just means he doesn't feel as old as his age. Maybe he's trying to hold onto his youth. Nothing red flag about it, unless he uses that as an excuse to have his way with kids.

He's full of energy and is active. He doesn't stop learning nd is always exploring new things.

I don’t necessarily think feeling youthful and childlike is bad depending in the context that it’s said.

Depends on the guy. The ones I know, it's got to do with health issues, and they aren't in pain and feel well

It is my conviction that nearly all of us still in some way feel like we're 20. We are often taken aback by our reflection in the mirror.

Unless the man in question attempts to obtain your assistance in feeling 20, it's no threat to you. If he does, "No" is a fine word.

It is a curious concept among the young that a man of 50 trying to get something for nothing is somehow nastier and more selfish than a man of 21 doing the same thing.

Nasty and selfish is ageless.

You make him feel that way and he thinks he has a chance with you

in our head we still feel young. I didn't believe it until an 80 year old lady that I knew said she felt like a young person in her head - it was only when she looked in the mirror or tried to stand up that she remembered how old she was :)

Depends how much older he is. And I’d wonder about the context. If he means interested in learning new things, the eagerness of a child, that’s cool. But if he’s considerably older (31+) and wants to hang out with folks under 20, that’s not good.

Could be true, or it could be propaganda. If he can convince you he feels and thinks and acts like someone your age, maybe you'll be willing to play with him. So yeah, it could be a red flag. Just go with your gut. If it feels weird, I'd stay clear.
