Do you think Trump will be impeached?

Democrats in red districts and moderate districts are saying they are NOT committed to impeachment.

He has been impeached:
Impeachment is the process by which a legislative body levels charges against a government official. Impeachment does not in itself remove the official definitively from office; it is similar to an indictment in criminal law, and thus it is essentially the statement of charges against the official.

The statement of charges have been made. Now, do I think he will be convicted and removed from office? It depends on the Republicans in the Senate. Judging by the last three years, no.
That’s what I thought. I remember the process from when Clinton got impeached. @Floridian

@Floridian He has not been impeached yet, they're still deciding the articles of impeachment. It should get voted on today

@GJOFJ3 You're right. The Speaker announced what they would be, but they haven't been voted on by the full House. Oops.

And even when the House judiciary committee votes on them, impeachment doesn't actually happen until the full House votes on the articles of impeachment. If they vote no, he will not be impeached. @Floridian

@PainfulTruth Have they already voted on the articles of impeachment? I've not been watching today.

@SW-User You're right, the full House hasn't voted. Sorry. Once the House votes, assuming they vote to impeach, then he will be impeached, but not removed and not convicted. It's a charge, not a conviction, as you guys know more than I.

@Floridian I think this has been a political learning experience for many of us.
