If you had a glass lamp with a fillable vase, what type of things would you fill it with?

Sea shells. They used to have bags of them for sale at Savers. I used to buy the huge glass vases...the bigger the better...and I would layer pink sand on the bottom, followed by a layer of turquoise glass flattened marbles, then and layer of shells and so on. The broken shells always in the middle, and the prettiest ones on the outside where they could show off their beauty.
