Do you know someone whose mere presence causes you to doubt everything about yourself?

Can't say that I do, no. A few someones whose mere presence usually causes other reactions, yeah.

No, but I've met people whose mere presence [i]really[/i] pushed me to keep from popping a cap.

i am like that whether i'm around others or not, but the feeling is amplified around others, especially people who are severely out-of-touch with themselves. i'm always amazed and incredulous at the complexity of life, self, others. i never feel like i'm where i'm supposed to be. even while knowing this is the only place for me.

I seem to recall feeling this way around some people when I was a lot younger. It definitely was an issue of my own self esteem.
