In my personal experience, miracles are more like small but very unlikely occurrences, which are known as tender mercies. If your eyes are open, it is true, you can see them all around you.

There was the time I was driving, and pretty much stopped in stall and crawl traffic. A motorcycle was in front of me, and I could see in the rear view mirror behind me, a woman talking on her cell phone.

Suddenly I got a VERY strong feeling that I should change lanes. It wasn't just oh gee maybe I should. It was...change lanes right NOW. So I did. The traffic was so heavy it was a big tra-la to get into the left hand lane, but I did it.

I sat in my lane for about 5 minutes, and I was just saying to myself, "That was weird", when suddenly the woman who had been talking on her cell phone HIT the rear end of the motorcycle that had been in front of me. THEN it was really weird!

And when my former sister-in-law had cancer of the spine, and had to live in a barometric chamber for a month, I wrote to her every day, and for some weird reason I just KNEW that she would be healed...and I told her so. And she was healed.

And then there was the time I gave my next to last dollar to a young man collecting for a drug abuse recovery program and I was starving. I drove over to Taco Bell and was scraping the last pennies out of the bottom of my purse. I didn't have enough for a drink, but I drove up, ordered, and the girl told me they were having a special that day, a free soft drink!

Or once, I was in the Dollar Tree with one of my elderly Alzheimer's clients who loved to shop, and the young man standing in front of us decided to pay for all of my client's purchases. It was amazing! That year, we had so many "pay it forward" tender mercies. 馃槆

@4meAndyou Wow, all of that is certainly amazing! I hope you have more moments like that!

@SDesert33 Thank you. Everyone probably has them, but they just call them "nice coincidences". But a small miracle by any other name is still a miracle. 馃槈
