Did you go to church during your childhood?

I stopped after my grandma died. Otherwise I went every week.

I was asked not to come any more after questioning the whole Noah story in great detail when I was in kindergarten. Apparently the Sunday school teacher thought I was a bad influence 😂

@Zaphod42 like what? I heard Noah's ark is actually in the mountains
Zaphod42 · 46-50, M
@ScarletWitch There’s something on a mountain in Turkey that looks vaguely boat shaped, but there’s been constant fighting in the area since the satellite picture was taken so no one has been allowed to go and look. And I just asked things like what did the animals eat for 40 days on the boat, how did animals from thousands and thousands of miles away in different continents get there, if the world was under water for that long wouldn’t every plant have been killed so what did the animals eat after it was over, and how could millions of species all fit on a boat the size of a football field. You know, basic math questions, lol

@Zaphod42 far as I know... "god" told 2 animals of each animal to go to his ship. And the food it took about over 50 years until the flood came. I'm sure they stocked the fuk up. lol

@ScarletWitch Ok, but enough food for millions of different species and all the millions of animals/insects themselves in a vessel about 450 feet long by 300 feet wide by 50 feet tall?
ScarletWitch · 26-30, F
@Zaphod42 I'm gonna guess there werent any bugs lol and they all survived the flood hahaha
Damn cockroaches
Zaphod42 · 46-50, M
@ScarletWitch A good number of hugs can’t fly and would drown if that was the case. And even if you take that into account the sheer mass of just the mammals would fill the ark to capacity, let alone the reptiles and flightless birds of the world.

Not to mention the absolute lack of genetic diversity would have lead to severe birth defects and long term disorders from all the in breeding 🤷‍♂️

@Zaphod42 then again back then I dont think there were as many animals as there were today to be honest.
Zaphod42 · 46-50, M
There were actually far more species back then. In the last 100 years or so we’ve managed to wipe out 1000s of species 😕@ScarletWitch
