What will it take and how long will it be before we never read headlines like this?

Pope Francis is doing a few things right, but I feel sometimes it’s too little too late.

Over a year ago i testified to the PA.grand jury along with over 100 others ,to my knowledge the only punishment given was to move the priests, close one church and take the bishops name off of one building. Supposedly the criminal case is ongoing ,yeah right.

@kodiac Never back down, this is not over.

@Miram The sad part is the man on the street and the everyday catholic believer think it is over ,in reality the abuse has not stopped and neither has the practice of hiding it.

@kodiac there are people who will stand by your side and fight with you, including me. You are not alone, even we have to scream the truth into the ears of every catholic believer.

Society is centuries behind when it comes to children's rights. Reinforcing consequences is part of reinforcing safety, people think it'd not happen to their own but it's too common and most of it in unreported when it comes to males.

Your choice to continue speaking up is part of all our healing and the beginning of a solution.

@Miram Most days i wonder if it was worth it ,i kept quiet for years and i felt responsible for anyone that got hurt after me ,now i know it wouldn't have stopped even if i told years ago. S.N.A.P will never let this go away no matter how much those in power want it to.

@kodiac It would matter when others come forward. You've done the right thing.
@kodiac You are a hero for testifying, Kodi. Many hold their terrible secrets deep inside them and never speak of them. It was worth it. You spoke against a great injustice and abuse of innocent children, one of whom was you. I respect you. And you speak for those who never will be able to. You are courageous, Kodi.
