Has anyone else changed their minds about how they feel about politics here???

I gotta say that I am so sick and tired of the same ole' political posts. It has lost it's luster. It's completely no fun any more to discuss, argue or even troll these posts anymore.
I am just wondering if anyone else used to enjoy it and are now burned out on it?

I find it exhausting. It's even more tiring than making a huge Thanksgiving dinner and cleaning up afterward.

But I think that we could very well end up stricken with poverty, as a nation, and ruled by a global nanny mentality which believes, (without foundation), they are smarter than the so-called "free" American. So if there is any chance of socialist rule, I will drink more coffee with sugar and try to rally myself.

@4meAndyou But do you feel like you can change any ones already existing opinion? I have realized I can't no matter the amount of logic I try to use.

@Dainbramadge Some people have burrowed themselves in like ticks. Independent voters like myself and a few others are still listening to the candidates on the Democrat side, to see which one is LESS dangerous than the others. IMO the congenital and chronic liars, (like Warren), and hypocrites, (like Sanders), are MORE dangerous than the others.

If it should happen that a Democrat candidate is ever nominated by his or her party, I want to prepare myself mentally for the fallout if he or she is ever elected.

@4meAndyou I understand what you are saying but do you get any of that from here? I mean overall I am sick of the entire thing on T.V., on Twitter, Facebook and mostly here.
On here people seem to think they are going to make a difference in how others are going to vote when in reality they are just making arenas for dispute and un-understanding rederick.
IDK I guess I have just come to the conclusion that all those posts are not doing any good and my participation is just as bad as the posters intent.

@Dainbramadge I think I have already blocked all of the people who are abusive and use bad language...so I am just getting positive reinforcement now from normal, sane people, and I don't think that's too bad. It makes me feel better.
